The U.S. has extended its restrictions at its land borders with Canada and Mexico (through October 21, 2021) that bar nonessential travel such as tourism by foreigners – this, despite Canada’s recent (Aug. 9, 2021) action to open its border to vaccinated Americans. Nearly all foreign nationals traveling to the U.S. by air will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, beginning in early November.
