The National Safety Council has released its annual list of OSHA’s top ten most-cited regulations (for 2020). This year, the top ten includes some familiar incidents (each appearing the last three years) including fall protection, hazard communication, scaffolding and logout/tagout (LOTO). In addition, we find newcomer near the top, respiratory protection, as major citation source. As many of these top violations are recurrent, OSHA consistently focuses on these high-profile hazards during on-site inspections.
