
Federal contractors must submit their objections to the publication of their Employment Information Report (EEO-1) Type 2 Consolidated, by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by Monday, September 19, 2022.
The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) submitted a FOIA request to OFCCP seeking access to all Type-2 EEO-1 Reports submitted by federal contractors – including first-tier subcontractors – between 2016 and 2020. The Type 2 EEO-1 compiles information from all affiliates and locations to offer a demographic breakdown of the employer’s workforce by race and gender.
Objections must be submitted electronically through the OFCCP portal at https://www.dol.gov/agencies/ofccp/submitter-notice-response-portal
