CDC: Updated Guidance on Quarantine Length for those Vaccinated, but Exposed to COVID-19

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its “employment setting” guidance for fully vaccinated, asymptomatic individuals who have come in close contact with someone with COVID-19. The CDC does not recommend isolation, but does strongly suggest that the individual get tested within 3-5 days of the exposure. It is also recommended that they wear a mask indoors for 14 days or until a negative test is received. The most important factor is that the person remains asymptomatic.
