CDC: Travel to Mexico, Brazil & Singapore Discouraged

On January 31, 2022, The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) strongly discouraged U.S. citizens against traveling to the following countries due to high COVID-19 infection rates:

  • Mexico
  • Brazil
  • Singapore
  • Ecuador
  • Kosovo
  • Philippines
  • Paraguay

In addition to the countries listed above, there are nearly 130 countries and territories with COVID-19 cases listed as “Level Four: Very High.” The CDC now lists nearly 130 countries and territories with COVID-19 cases as “Level Four: Very High.” It also added Anguilla, French Guiana, Moldova and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to its highest level on Monday.
